College Football Underground Reveals 27 Cycle Conferences and Team Assignments
The College Football Underground 27 Cycle officially began taking shape during the Conference and Team Reveal Show, where all 32 coaches learned exactly where they will compete when the new dynasty season begins.
The league will feature five custom eight-team conferences: the Pac-12, SEC, Big Ten, Big 12 and ACC. The final alignment places 32 user-controlled programs alongside eight CPU teams, creating a competitive structure built around conference balance, traditional rivalries and the pageantry that makes college football special.
This was more than a simple team announcement. The reveal established the matchups, championship races and potential playoff storylines that will define the entire 27 Cycle.
Pac-12
The Pac-12 brings together six user-controlled programs from across the West Coast and Mountain regions.
USC — Brian James
Oregon — Scotty
UCLA — Tru Legend
Washington — Foody
Arizona State — Zkingshay
Colorado — BKP
Utah — CPU
Stanford — CPU
The conference immediately delivers several major rivalry games. USC and UCLA will battle for Los Angeles, while Oregon and Washington continue one of the most heated rivalries in the Pacific Northwest.
Arizona State and Colorado add two dangerous programs capable of disrupting the championship race. With only two CPU-controlled teams, the Pac-12 schedule will require its top coaches to survive multiple user games before reaching the conference championship.
Oregon enters with championship expectations under Scotty, but Brian James at USC, Foody at Washington and the rest of the conference will have plenty to say about who ultimately represents the Pac-12.
SEC
The SEC may be the deepest conference in the entire dynasty.
Auburn — Saint
LSU — Snupe
Georgia — Huncho
Florida — Silverbacc
Alabama — Rich
Texas — Va Dimes
Tennessee — MF Taylormade
Mississippi State — CPU
There will be very few comfortable weeks in this conference.
Huncho brings his championship history to Georgia, while Va Dimes takes control of a powerful Texas program. Rich at Alabama, Saint at Auburn, Snupe at LSU, Silverbacc at Florida and MF Taylormade at Tennessee complete a field filled with experienced Underground competitors.
The conference also preserves several major college football matchups, including Alabama-Auburn, Georgia-Florida and Texas against several familiar SEC opponents.
Mississippi State is the only CPU-controlled program, meaning nearly every conference game will be decided directly between members of the community. Whoever wins this conference will have earned it.
Big Ten
The Big Ten combines traditional powerhouses with coaches looking to establish themselves early in the cycle.
Michigan — Trey 4 Life
Ohio State — Memphis Doug
Indiana — Space
Nebraska — Phillyguy
Penn State — Woody
Missouri — Assassin
Michigan State — CPU
Iowa — CPU
Michigan and Ohio State immediately become one of the most important games on the dynasty schedule. Trey 4 Life and Memphis Doug will inherit one of college football’s greatest rivalries, with conference championship and playoff implications potentially attached to every meeting.
Woody at Penn State, Phillyguy at Nebraska and Assassin at Missouri give the conference additional programs capable of challenging the two traditional favorites. Space will attempt to build on Indiana’s recent rise and turn the Hoosiers into a legitimate championship contender.
The CPU-controlled Michigan State and Iowa programs will still present difficult environments and important rivalry opportunities throughout the season.
Big 12
The Big 12 could become the most unpredictable conference in the league.
Texas Tech — Vetch
Oklahoma — MTV
West Virginia — CJack
BYU — TG
Texas A&M — Automatic COB
Arkansas — Beard
Ole Miss — Rangler
Oklahoma State — CPU
Arkansas was moved into the Big 12 with Beard taking control of the Razorbacks, giving the conference another strong user program and creating several intriguing regional matchups.
MTV at Oklahoma enters with one of the conference’s strongest rosters, but the Big 12 offers no shortage of challengers. Vetch will lead Texas Tech, Automatic COB takes over Texas A&M and Rangler brings Ole Miss into the conference following the final alignment changes.
CJack at West Virginia and TG at BYU add two programs with unique home environments and the potential to create difficult road games for every contender.
With seven user-controlled teams and only Oklahoma State operating as a CPU program, the Big 12 championship race could change every week.
ACC
The ACC features several national brands and some of the most dangerous coaches in the league.
Clemson — Prince
Florida State — Dre White
Miami — Doc Giggles
Notre Dame — Killuminati
Louisville — Dom
South Carolina — Blank Tim
Virginia Tech — CPU
NC State — CPU
Florida State and Miami will renew their rivalry under Dre White and Doc Giggles, while Prince will attempt to return Clemson to national championship contention.
Killuminati takes control of Notre Dame, one of the most prestigious programs in college football. South Carolina and Clemson will also continue their annual rivalry, with Blank Tim and Prince fighting for bragging rights inside the conference.
Louisville gives Dom a program capable of developing quickly through recruiting and the transfer portal. Virginia Tech and NC State complete the conference as CPU-controlled programs while preserving additional regional and rivalry games.
The ACC may not receive as much preseason attention as the SEC, but its collection of talent makes it one of the most dangerous conferences in the dynasty.
The Preseason Debate Begins
The reveal show also began the discussion surrounding the preseason power rankings, conference favorites and potential championship matchups.
Some coaches inherit established national powers that are expected to compete immediately. Others selected programs that may require recruiting, development and patience before reaching their full potential.
That difference is part of what makes the College Football Underground dynasty unique. Winning with an elite roster can create immediate expectations, but building a program into a contender can establish an entirely different type of legacy.
The conference alignment will also allow the schedule makers to emphasize real college football rivalries and high-profile nonconference games. The goal is not simply to fill schedules. It is to create meaningful games, memorable environments and matchups that members of the community will want to watch.
A New Cycle Is Ready to Begin
Every coach now knows his program. Every program knows its conference. The preseason arguments have already started, but the final answers will come on the field.
The 27 Cycle will feature established champions, returning contenders, dangerous newcomers and coaches attempting to rebuild their reputations. Five conference championships will be decided, but only one coach will finish the season as the College Football Underground National Champion.
