The College Football Underground Kickoff Tournament is the official opening event for our newest cycle, bringing together coaches from across the community for a one-night battle before dynasty competition begins.

This tournament is FREE for all active College Football Underground subscribers and gives members an opportunity to compete, showcase their skills, and establish themselves before the season officially kicks off.

  • Date: Friday, July 17

  • Start Time: 5:00 PM PT

  • Entry Fee: FREE for active College Football Underground subscribers

  • Bracket: Finalized on Thursday, July 16

  • Streaming Requirement: All tournament games must be streamed.

  • Prize - 100 Dollars, Featured article.

Eligibility

  • Active College Football Underground subscription required.

  • Participants must be available to play during the tournament.

  • All games must be streamed to ensure competitive integrity and provide content for the community.

Game Format

  • Tournament Format: Single Elimination

  • Match Type: Single Game

  • Teams: Any Regular Team

  • Difficulty: Heisman

  • Quarter Length: 4 Minutes

Required Game Settings

Unless instructed otherwise by a College Football Underground official, all games must use the following settings:

  • Stadium: Neutral Site (may not use either team's home stadium)

  • Fatigue: On

  • Injuries: Off

  • Accelerated Clock: Off

  • Game Speed: Normal

  • Weather: Off

  • Even Teams: Off

Team Selection

✅ Any regular team may be used.

Gameplay Policy

College Football Underground is built on fair competition. Any attempt to exploit game-breaking glitches, bugs, or unintended gameplay mechanics is strictly prohibited.

All gameplay disputes involving glitches or exploits will be reviewed by College Football Underground officials. Their ruling will be final.

Lag, Settings & Team Verification

Players are responsible for confirming game settings, team selections, and connection quality before continuing play.

Any concerns regarding:

  • Incorrect game settings

  • Connection or lag issues

  • Illegal team selections

must be reported within the first two (2) minutes of gameplay.

After the first two minutes have elapsed, the game will continue as played with no exceptions.

For the most stable online experience, the use of a wired (LAN) connection is strongly recommended.

Disconnection Policy

If a game disconnects before completion:

  • The matchup must be restarted immediately.

  • Resume the game using the same score from the time of the disconnect.

  • Play only the remaining game time.

Example: If the game disconnects at the end of the 1st quarter, restart the game and play through the end of the 3rd quarter to complete the remaining three quarters of gameplay.
