Memphis Doug Breaks Down His 4 Wide Dougie Scheme

Two-time College Football Underground champion Memphis Doug is sharing his “4 Wide Dougie” offensive scheme for College Football 27.

The four-wide system is designed to spread the defense out, create favorable matchups and give the quarterback simple reads against man coverage, zone coverage and pressure.

With four receivers on the field, defenses are forced to defend the entire width of the field. That can create openings for slot receivers, quick passes, deep shots and the running game when defenders move outside.

The scheme also gives players answers against the blitz. When the defense sends extra pressure, the offense can attack the open space with quick throws and allow receivers to make plays after the catch.

Memphis Doug’s breakdown carries extra weight because he is already a two-time champion in the College Football Underground community. He understands what it takes to build an offense that can work against experienced competition.
